The Cost of Being Seen

Jun 12, 2025 | 0 comments

Introduction

“Visibility” is the buzzword everyone chases, but few truly understand the cost behind it. Months ago, my Facebook account was disabled without warning — years of content, community, and connections vanished overnight.

That was my wake-up call.

For months, I’d toyed with focusing more on LinkedIn, where my ideal audience lives. But Facebook had been my comfort zone — familiar but exhausting. The constant chase of likes, algorithm changes, and content pressure wore me down.

The universe gave me a sign: It was time to shift my focus and rethink how I show up.

No more shouting into the void for fleeting likes. I needed clarity, strategy, and courage to lead with authenticity.

In this episode, I share:

  • The hidden toll of chasing visibility
  • How to identify and avoid platform fatigue
  • Why LinkedIn offers a more intentional space to connect
  • Practical steps to reclaim your energy and influence without selling your soul
